Scott started printing and embroidering in the basement of their home, while working days at a local printer. He now heads up the Production Division. Cub, Ram & Hoosier fan – feel free to hold this against him.
Tina and Scott started Designs Unlimited from their home in 2005. Oh, the stories, memories, and lessons learned along the way....
When home you'll find her with her easy listening playlist (predates iTunes), She loves a good book, spending time with her kids & soon future grandkids, Illini basketball, Cardinal baseball, and is a flower planter / tender extraordinaire.

When not home: she loves to travel, golf, play pickleball, & most especially spending time with her kids and good (not great) and charming co-worker (not to mention that I'm her husband & the author of this bio).

One chink in her armor…she has a really hard time keeping track of her iPhone.
Lynn Koester
Business Manager
Lynn joined the DU team as our Business Manager in October of 2020. Lynn loves spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys reading, cooking, and baking.
She is our resident in-house "goodie provider" and loves watching our britches get tighter and tighter. One thing she doesn't cook with is cilantro because, apparently, it tastes like dish soap. Who knew...

Pam joined our team in January of 2020 and is the smiling face you see when you walk through our front door. All we can say about Pam is "THANK THE LORD" she's on our team! In addition to her dozens of other tasks, she's also our resident "DU Mom", and takes great care of all of us!
Because we can be hot messes most of the time, we really make her work hard for her paycheck. Pam loves spending time with her family and grandkids, turkey hunting, and escaping to Southern Illinois (from us, most likely) with friends on the weekends.
Janelle Garcia
Promotional Product Specialist
Janelle is a mother of five and wife of one.

Janelle has been with DU the longest, since 2007. She keeps our sales staff "in the know" about all new product launches, and makes sure we are educated & informed. Janelle acts as the in-house expert on domestic monetary policy and she really loves the show 'Doomsday Preppers'.
She has been known to fall for firefighters in '84 Chevrolet S-10 pickups.

Kaitlin Cornett

Kaitlin joined our Corporate Sales division in May of 2022. She comes to us with several years of industry experience under her belt, and we couldn’t be happier! Kaitlin spends her days listening to Harry Styles. Scott wants to introduce her to Country from the 50’s to see how she feels about that…

When not at work Kaitlin enjoys spending time with her husband, Lantz, and daughters, Brynn and Emma. She also enjoys traveling and is on a mission to visit all fifty states and as many national parks as possible!
Maria Ruholl
Corporate Sales Executive
Maria joined our sales team in November of 2020 as Janelle's right-hand wo-man, and is now a corporate sales rep. Maria resides in Teutopolis and enjoys spending time with her husband, friends and family. Never, and we mean NEVER, respond to her texts with "K." She may or may not retaliate.
She's a singer and a whistler, and her weaknesses are anything "Bachelor Nation" related, online shopping, and eating cereal. We're not sure if she ever does all of these at one time, but if so it might just be something to see.
Monica Kremer
Corporate Sales Executive
Monica, wife plus mother to four boys (we say a prayer for her every night) joined our sales team in January of 2023. She’s brought a new light to our sales team and has introduced us all to the art of squirrel chasing! If you’ve met this amazing person, you understand!
She’s the queen of Friday lunch outings and impromptu office soda/salami sandwich runs. She keeps our group laughing, and is always willing to give out an awkward side-hug at our morning sales meetings.

Sidney graduated in December 2020 from SIUE with a degree in Marketing, and joined our DU team in May of 2020. Because Scott and Tina are such exciting people, and because she couldn't get enough of them at home, she decided to follow them around at work too! Quirky facts about Sidney:

1.) She almost always wears sunglasses, though they are never on her face.
2.) She loves to travel, but this isn't easy because her car keys are always lost.
3.) She can play nine different instruments.

Andy Dahnke (Pronounced with yankee but with a D) joined our sales force in 2023. Hailing from the sprawling area of Altamont, Andy brings a bit of Texas Aggie spirit to our team!
In her free time you can typically find her reading, spending time with her Hubbie, and basking in the great outdoors!
Andy is a quiet person at work, so when she talks, we all abruptly stop what we’re doing so we can soak in those words of wisdom!

As a jack of all trades, she’s quickly mastered the art of sales support, sales training scheduler, and also acts as a back-up to corporate sales and purchasing! She is also in training to become our future production scheduler as well!
Cassidy loves spending time with her husband and chasing her active toddler, Henry! She loves reading, crafting, and playing sand volleyball. She is a Cardinal fan, so our balance of power firmly remains with St. Louis.
Cassidy and Maria have a daily race to see who can get here closest to 8:00 without going over…. Cassidy has the edge currently…

Eric joined our schools/athletic sales team in January of 2024. Eric lets off steam (maybe needed when working with a roomful of women?) by coaching a different sport every season. His absolute favorite thing is spending time with his wife and two kids!
He is an avid Wooden Shoe fan, and we’re glad to finally add our first one to the office. #NOTEVENCLOSE He also loves North Carolina basketball and Michigan football. (Traitor)
He kind of blows us all out of the water in the organization department. You should see his desk and e:mail folders…it’s something to behold.
Cindy Funneman

Lover of all things Teutopolis, Hoosier, and STL Cardinals, Cindy was welcomed with open arms by the majority of our staff in July of 2021. We say majority because unfortunately, we do have some avid Cubs fans in the building (group meetings here can become a little awkward during play-off season.)

Cindy is an over-achiever, as she originally began her career with us in Embroidery, but now has also decided to master BOTH sales support and shipping support functions. Who are we to stop her?

Brian is our first official staff addition from the home of the "biggest things". Go Braves! We were so excited to have another talented artist join our staff. He's lucky he didn't end up at the bottom of a dogpile on his first day.
Brian is a man of many talents... Graphic designer, husband, father to four boys, coach, mentor, & leader. We're lucky to have him!
Michele Apke

Michele has been welcomed with open arms to our Accounting department, and she will provide much-needed relief.
She’s a town girl that moved to Lillyville to "get away from it all”.

Sewing/quilting/crafting/wineries are her ways to chill out….She's an avid sports fan and has added "nana" to her resume. She now has over half a million miles on her vehicle just trying to get to that grandbaby.

Not a fan of heights or singing karaoke while not drinking….she is a fan of Garth Brooks, Joanna Gaines & HGTV.

Before DU, she spent the last 20+ years in the printing business, so she decided to try something different. Ummm.... who's gonna tell her?
A loving wife to Josh, mom to three kids, and pet mom to one. She really, really, really loves jeeping. Really! She also enjoys spending time with family and friends. Have I mentioned they love jeeping (and camping)?
Krisy Ruholl

Krisy jumped into our crazy fold in October of 2021 (just in time for peak busy season!) Krisy lives in a world of twos: Favorite foods are Mexican and Italian, Favorite sports teams are Cubs and Steelers, and favorite shows are Gilmore Girls and The Witcher.
When Krisy isn’t at work you can usually find her chasing her kids and husband, or riding her pristine condition ’02 four-wheeler she bought back in the day. Yes…it still runs great and no she will not sell it.
Marisa Schabbing

Marisa added some much needed relief to our embroidery department in March of 2022. With her arrival, we brought our Cubs fan count in the building even higher, which is truly a sad thing to point out…BUT, all is well because we added another Wooden Shoe fan to the mix, and that’s always a plus in our books!
Her sweet personality and big smile make each day better at DU – which we are so thankful for!
Kyle Ruffner

Kyle joined our crazy crew in the fall of 2023. When not perfecting his embroidery skills, he likes “shredding the boards” or “ripping lips” as he likes to call it. AKA- skateboarding and fishing.
Also, most people aren’t able to eat a Cruisers cheeseburger every other day and be the size of a string bean, but Kyle has it down to an art. Cruisers- sponsor him already!

Lonnie Tull, Jr. - or Deano - is an experienced screen-printer who joined our staff the summer of 2015, is now a valued leader in our screenprint department.
He is too old to skateboard, but is still too young to be aware of this.
He recently learned what pepper jack cheese was, but also confused the Rolling Stones with Journey and thought Mariano Rivera was the lead singer of Metallica, which should be a sackable offense.

Deano is a husband, father, & mentor to many.

Poe is our resident, in-house, automatic press expert and a rock-star in our screenprint department.

Poe's passion is music and he is pursuing a music career. It's a bluegrass band, we think, but we're uncertain.

Loretta joined our shipping and receiving department in March of 2020. Named after the ever-famous Coal Miner's Daughter, Loretta Lynn, it's only fitting that she listens to the song at least once a day. Loretta resides in Teutopolis with her husband and kids.
She loves spending time with family, reading, and camping. To stay on her good side it works to play old country music, bring her food from Olive Garden, and never ever ever have or chew gum when around her. Oh...and "uncaging" a bottle of wine in her presence is a sure shoe-in too!
